Please be sure to fill in all fields with the correct information.

Answer: Applications must be submitted electronically. Hardcopy
applications are not available at the main office.

Answer: Applications are reviewed frequently when open positions are available.
Due to the high volume of applicants applying, we ask that applicants not
call or re-email information. Please wait until we contact you.

contact you about scheduling a phone
interview, face-to-face interview and what you will need.

Question: What's
the turn around time once I am interviewed?
Answer:
Applicants who successfully complete the interview process are offered
positions once background, educational and employment verifications are
completed. Openings and offers for
employment tend to follow very quickly. This can be discussed with
your interviewer during the face-to-face interview.

Question: Why is my verification taking so long?
Answer:
Please make sure you have verifiable references. If your references take a
long time to return phone calls or complete the verification, this can delay
the process.

Question: I've been offered a position. Now what happens?
Answer:
Congratulations and welcome to the Onipa Psychological and Consulting
agency. To prepare you with all the tools you will need to be
successful, you will participate in 3 steps.
1st - You will
attend the agency training and orientation
2nd- sign an
agency contract and submit all current credentials
3rd - You will
shadow a senior staff member in the field
4th- You will
be assigned cases and be shadowed by a senior staff member in the field
5th- You will
meet with your supervisor to come up with a supervision plan

Will I be an employee or on contract?
Answer:
Administrative staff members are employees. Service providers are
full-time contract positions as in accordance with the State Staff
definitions.

14. Question: Are there career development, training or
advancement opportunities at Onipa?
Answer:
Yes to all. All staff members receive thorough training during the
Onipa new hire Orientation. 8 certificates of completion are earned
from your participation in the Orientation. Bi-weekly staff meeting (1 once
every two weeks) frequently include additional career
maintenance/development information or training opportunities. Staff
can cross train on higher positions once it is demonstrated that you have
successfully fulfilled your current contract duties and responsibilities.
Staff are the first notified about internal career advancement
opportunities.

will be my caseload?
Answer:
Caseloads are determined based on your credentials and your experience
with the target populations and their respective age groups.

Answer:
Everything else you need will be given or answered during Orientation and
once you meet your supervisor.
